It was a day of celebration and music for us as we welcomed back Conor Nolan, the winner of the 2022 Scoil Mhuire Naofa Song Writing competition! Conor’s original song was recorded during the summer holidays and today we had the launch of his debut single! He received a lovely presentation of his CD and the whole school gathered together to hear the finished recording, and also to hear Conor perform it live on stage. He was joined on stage by Mr Spriggs and Mr Urquhart who are also keen songwriters!! RTÉ 2 will feature Conor’s story on their News2day programme.
Conor has continued to play and write songs since leaving Scoil Nhuire Naofa and we wish him the very best in secondary school and in the future. No doubt we will be hearing lots more from him!!! Well done Conor!!
