Scoil Mhuire Naofa has a long, proud 60 year history of providing quality education in the Carrigtwohill area. Many changes have occurred since Scoil Mhuire Naofa opened its doors for the first time in 1956.
We are now a multicultural society and this is reflected in the pupil cohort. We are a school with a Christian ethos, under the patronage of the Catholic Bishop of Cloyne, but we extend the hand of welcome to those of other faiths and other cultures.
Since September 2017 we have become a Co-educational school accepting both boys and girls in Junior Infants.
