About our school 2021-10-01T09:44:40+01:00

Here at Scoil Mhuire Naofa we create a safe and positive learning environment which helps our children reach their full potential. We are committed to providing the highest standard of teaching. We work in partnership with parents/guardians to offer support to each child on their individual learning journey.

High Acadamic Standards

Scoil Mhuire Naofa is a child centred Academic School with high standards of achievement overall and particulary in literacy and numeracy. Our results of the annual National Standardised tests indicate that each year our standards are improving. This is due, to a large degree, to the dedication of our experienced and highly qualified staff members who consistently and regularly review best practice in the quality of teaching and learning in our school.

We enjoy many educational field trips. In recent years we have attended The Science of Bubbles Show in the Firken Crane, Phototonics, The Science of Light from the Tyndall National Institute and Animals’ Characteristics and Habitats in Fota Wildlife Park to name but a few.

Mission Statement
It is our Mission, to be a Happy, Christian, Caring School which motivates Learning and Personal Growth in an atmosphere which is Disciplined, Honest and Respectful

Our pupils enjoy the facility of learning musical instruments (guitar, tin whistle, keyboard, percussion) or taking part in the School Choir and Band. They have been to recording studios and have been on TV. Every  year we aim to have each child in the school take part in at least one musical performance.

What can we offer your child?
