Congratulations to our wonderful young artists who had their talents justly recognised this week at an awards ceremony held in Trinity College Dublin.
The annual Junior Painter contest which is open to children across Ireland, inspires young artists to promote equality for people with disabilities. This year there were 3,500 entries.
Scoil Mhuire Naofa are proud to announce that we had 3 prize winners. Tobiasz Rogolski, and Eryk Puch were the winners in their categories of the regional prize for Munster, and Scott Lomasney received a special judge’s commendation for his composition.
Furthermore Tobiasz Rogolski was awarded third place overall by a team of expert judges. The 22 finalist and highly commended paintings will be exhibited in the Dun Laoghaire Lexicon Library throughout the summer, and will also be displayed in Powerscourt Town Centre, Dublin 2 for the month of August.
Congratulations and well done boys! We wish you all the very best in the future.
