This year in the absence of the national INTO handwriting competition, we decided to hold our own Scoil Mhuire Naofa handwriting competition. It was a great opportunity to focus on the importance of correct pencil grip and letter formation in the younger classes, and on keeping our writing neat and legible in the older classes. Every child was able to complete a piece to enter the competition, and then three winners were selected from each class. The proud winners were presented with their awards in a special outdoor ceremony in accordance with COVID gyuidelines.
