Here in Scoil Mhuire Naofa Science Week was an exciting, fun-filled, learning adventure! Children are naturally curious, and we certainly had a huge variety of experiments and activities going on in every classroom throughout the week. We had butter making, self-inflating balloons, lava lamps, volcano apples, bread making, pressurised air reacting to force, capillary action, static electricity and robotics to name a few!! There were lots of happy faces to be seen as the children explored, probed, questioned and found solutions to everyday problems. Learning to understand our amazing universe can be lots of fun!
